Jazmin Locke-Rodriguez M.Sc is an accomplished academic and professional focused on agroecology and sustainable agriculture. Currently serving as a Venture Fellow at Larta Institute, Jazmin is involved in developing floating treatment wetlands in urban Miami. Jazmin has held significant roles at Florida International University, including Dissertation Year Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant, where the dissertation research focuses on utilizing cut-flower species for phytoremediation. As the founder and director of Green Thumbs for Healthy Bodies, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing access to locally grown products, Jazmin has also coordinated community gardens. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in Agroecology, Jazmin has amassed diverse experiences in community development, environmental health programming, and curriculum development across multiple organizations.
