James Bean has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James then became the Regional Recruiting Director at GUARDSMARK INC in 1994, overseeing recruitment, hiring, and training for 30 customer accounts and 300 security officers. From 2001 to 2004, James was the Human Resources Director at Rio Suite Hotel & Casino, where they managed employee relations, HR policies, training, and worked closely with labor relations. James joined Caesars Entertainment Corporation in 2005 as an Executive Casino Host, and later became the Director of Customer Service, managing a large team of front-of-house employees. James joined Affinity Gaming, LLC in 2016 as the Director of Casino Marketing and Player Development, responsible for a player database generating over $5M annually and handling casino marketing, player development, and event hosting. James then served as the Human Resources Director at Las Vegas-Clark County Library District in 2017. Most recently, in 2019, they became the CEO of DebJohn Entertainment.

James Bean attended The University of Memphis from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, with a focus on Journalism. James then pursued higher studies at The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law from 1989 to 1992.
