Shana Harrington

Shana Harrington is an experienced library professional with over 22 years at the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, currently serving as the Youth Services Manager. In this role, Shana oversees the planning and implementation of diverse youth programs, early literacy initiatives, and family engagement activities. Previous positions include Department Head for the Young People's Library and Young People's Librarian, where Shana managed children's services and collection development, respectively. Earlier experience includes serving as a Student Reference Assistant at the University of Arizona, providing reference support to students and residents. Shana holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
