Rick Ward has extensive experience in inventory control and motorsports safety, with a career spanning several decades. Since January 2012, Rick has worked at Shasta Industries in inventory control. Concurrently, Rick has served as a pit lane firefighter at both Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway since September 2008 and May 2003, respectively. Additionally, Rick has held the position of pit lane supervisor at Phoenix International Raceway since January 1987. Rick's educational background includes studies in Bowling Green, Ohio.

With more than 1,400 event days a year that include two tripleheader NASCAR weekends, two NHRA national events and the Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the world’s most diverse motorsports facility.
