James A.

James A. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James currently holds the role of Director - Data and Analytics at Las Vegas Sands Corp. since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Corporate IT Governance and Analytics Manager at the same company from April 2019 to December 2022. In this role, they were responsible for providing ad hoc reporting and analysis, data planning and structuring, developing and managing Power BI Dashboards, and working on vendor relationships and project work.

Before joining Las Vegas Sands Corp., James worked at TechSmith Corporation as a Software Test Specialist II from October 2013 to November 2018. James also served as a Product Analyst at eBizAutos from 2011 to 2013 and as an Application Developer at Avalar Realty in 2008. James began their career as a Business Intern at Renown Health in 2007.

James A. attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems. In addition, they obtained the certification of SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2017, and the certification of Exam 761: Querying Data with Transact-SQL from Microsoft in February 2008.
