Joao Martins has a diverse work experience. Joao started their career as a Senior Marketing Manager at Las Vegas Sands Corp. in 2008. In this role, Joao managed and developed various events, such as film awards, exhibitions, and festivals, which resulted in increased visitation, revenue, and media value for the company. Joao also conducted strategic marketing studies and worked on partnership and sponsorship platforms to attract new customers to the casino. Additionally, Joao participated in press conferences and openings for new resorts. During their time at Las Vegas Sands Corp., they were a member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions and graduated from the Sands China Advanced Management Program.
After their experience at Las Vegas Sands Corp., Joao briefly worked as a sailor at Clipper Ventures plc - Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in 2015.
