Matt Perkins is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in innovation and engineering across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Global Innovation at Las Vegas Sands Corp. since July 2019, Matt has also co-founded FLOCX, focusing on solutions that support seniors' quality of life. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at Amazon Web Services, where responsibilities included utilizing Big Data for the proactive management of cloud infrastructure, and directing engineering efforts for Amazon Go, which pioneered advanced shopping technology. As Chief Technology Officer at Awarepoint, Matt was instrumental in developing industry-leading real-time location solutions for healthcare. With a foundational background at Motorola and MRP Consulting, combined with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Wireless Communications from the University of Florida, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to technology-driven organizations.
