Rich Etheridge

Rich Etheridge has extensive work experience in the field of data and software development. Rich currently holds the position of Manager - Reporting & Analytics at Las Vegas Sands Corp. Starting in 2023.

Prior to that, Rich worked at Insight from 2022 to 2023 as a Principal Software Engineer, Data & AI. In this role, they were part of a team that developed a process for highly automating source-to-cloud data migration and delivery. Rich implemented version 1 architecture for a university client and also handled data migration for a government-regulated client.

Before joining Insight, Rich worked at Ultradent Products, Inc. for a significant period from 2013 to 2022. During this time, they held the position of Data Architect and played a pivotal role in scaling ambitious business intelligence ideas into sustainable long-term programs. Rich established standards, expectations, versioning, and automation to achieve set goals.

From 2001 to 2013, Rich worked at Stampin' Up!, where they held two different roles. Rich initially started as a Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Developer, where they were responsible for developing an enterprise data warehouse to resolve operational and reporting system clashes. Rich also developed standards and practices for data warehouse development and reporting.

Later, at Stampin' Up!, Rich served as a Senior Software Developer. In this capacity, they managed the software development lifecycle of corporate applications and ensured their constant availability. Rich integrated various technologies and developed applications and utilities using Visual Basic 6.0, ASP, and Foxpro 6.

Before joining Stampin' Up!, Rich worked at several companies, including Bonafide, Intek, Etinuum, Digital Lighthouse, and Spider. During their time at these companies from 2000 to 2001, they held the position of Senior Software Developer. Rich managed a web application development team and coordinated projects for multiple departments. Rich also adapted technology for Madison Square Garden, incorporating a custom web-based interface.

Throughout their career, Rich Etheridge has gained expertise in data architecture, software development, business intelligence, and project management.

Rich Etheridge has a Master of Science degree in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. Rich also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Computer Science from the University of Phoenix. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at Santa Rosa Junior College. In addition to their formal education, Rich has obtained several certifications, including Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate from Databricks, Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, and DP-203T00 - Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure from Directions Training. Rich also has certifications in SAS, including SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling and SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming Using SAS 9.4. Rich has additional certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft, including A+ Certified Service Technician, Microsoft Certified Professional: Windows NT Server, Visual Basic, Internet, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
