David W. Pedersen

David W. Pedersen currently serves as the General Manager for Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, a position held since January 2013, responsible for the agency's daily operations and reporting to a five-member elected Board of Directors. Additionally, David holds the position of Past President at WateReuse California since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of Operations at Irvine Ranch Water District from March 2010 to January 2013 and as Assistant Division Engineer at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works from July 1994 to March 2010. Educationally, David earned an M.B.A. in Finance from California State University, Long Beach, during 1998 to 2001, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources from UC Irvine from 1991 to 1994.
