Jennifer OKeeffe

Jennifer has worked at Lasell since 2014. As Assistant Vice President for Legal Affairs, she is responsible for directing and supervising all legal matters on behalf of Lasell University and serves as an advisor to the President, the University's Board of Trustees and Senior Management colleagues. She is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA). Serving as the University's Title IX Coordinator, Jennifer oversees all complaints related to sexual harassment and gender discrimination. She ensures University compliance with Title IX and the 2013 Amendments to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Before joining Lasell, Jennifer was an Assistant District Attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, where she worked in the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Unit. In 2014, she successfully prosecuted the first human trafficking case under new Massachusetts legislation. Prior to her time as ADA, Jennifer was a staff attorney for the Justice Resource Institute and served as a law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court.
