Heather Bushmich, LCSW, currently serves as a Social Worker at Lasell Village since April 2022. Prior to this role, Heather held the position of Director of Social Services at Lighthouse Nursing Care Center from May 2019 to April 2022, where promotion resulted from demonstrated leadership and commitment to resident well-being. Throughout Heather's career, experience includes serving as a Social Services Specialist, providing psychosocial support and discharge planning, and completing an MSW internship at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, focusing on counseling and end-of-life support. Heather also worked as a Geriatric Support Services Coordinator at Springwell, Inc., coordinating in-home services for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Educational credentials include a Master's of Social Work from Boston College specializing in Older Adults and Families, and a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work from Salve Regina University.
