Nigel Woolley

Nigel Woolley is the CFO and Finance Director at O'Brien. Nigel has over 20 years of experience in finance and has held senior positions at JELD-WEN and Stegbar.

At JELD-WEN, Nigel was responsible for the company's operations in Australasia. Nigel oversaw a strategic review of all businesses, resulting in the divestment of several non-core assets and the improvement of the operational performance of the continuing businesses.

At Stegbar, Nigel was responsible for reporting, tax compliance, banking relationships, acquisitions and divestments, IT and supplier relations for the group, which had 15 manufacturing sites across Australia. Nigel worked alongside the CEO to transform the business from significant losses to strong profitability. Nigel implemented 5 divestments and 3 acquisitions, and they headed the selection and implementation of a group-wide ERP system and associated standard operating procedures. Nigel also restructured the finance function from a decentralised model to a centralised shared services model, and they played a lead role in the re-financing of the business.

Nigel Woolley studied economics, accounting, and financial management at The University of Sheffield, earning a BA (Hons) in the process.
