Alex Waldrop

Alex Waldrop is a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience in production improvement and technical problem-solving, currently working at Laser Techniques Company since May 2020. Previously, Alex contributed to manufacturing processes at Genie – a Terex brand, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction. In addition, Alex worked on advanced simulation projects at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, developing a TSA-compliant replica of an air defense system. As a team lead in the Peace Corps, Alex designed a human-powered rock crusher for sustainable use in Uganda. Alex's earlier roles include production and design work in aerospace and education, showcasing a diverse skill set developed through a mechanical engineering degree and a minor in mathematics from Washington State University.
