Brian Shockley has worked in various roles in the marketing and product management space since 1998. Brian began their career as a District Manager and Product Specialist at John Deere, followed by a role as Marketing Manager at Ashland/Valvoline. In 2006, they joined PIPS Technology as Director of Marketing and Product Management, and in 2010, they moved to GridSmart Technologies as Vice President of Marketing. In 2012, they took on a Marketing Consultant role at NDI Recognition Systems and simultaneously assumed the role of Vice President of Marketing & Product Management at Vigilant Solutions. In 2019, they joined Motorola Solutions (via Vigilant Solutions acquisition) as Vice President, Vigilant Product Management, and in 2021, they became Chief Marketing Officer at Lassen Peak. Throughout their career, Brian has successfully implemented strategic worldwide marketing and product management initiatives, introduced new technology product categories, and led the company into new market verticals. Brian has also built and developed product management teams, participated in a successful acquisition, and achieved over 500% revenue growth.

Brian Shockley completed their Bachelor of Science in Management, Marketing, and Business at Carson-Newman University from 1991 to 1995. Brian then pursued their Master of Business Administration in Marketing, Finance, and New Venture Analysis at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1995 to 1997. In 1993, they took part in an exchange program at Imperial College London for a summer semester, studying International Studies. In 2004, they attended Harvard University for an Executive Education in Strategic Marketing Management.
