About the Team & the Role:

As a QA Engineer, you are a key player in helping LASSO reach its goals while you develop an impressive track record for working in a growing, high performing company. You will report directly to the CTO and will have exposure and input into product strategy and technology decisions.

Qualifications include:

• Degree in computer science or comparable work experience in software development
• 3 or more years of automation or programming experience working with SaaS products
• Experience implementing automated tests using an established JavaScript testing framework, preferably Cypress
• Proficient in manual testing when implementing new functionality
• Proficient in testing and automating REST APIs
• Ability to apply technical expertise to our platforms to improve testing, efficiency, tools, automation, release, and quality of the software
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
• Highly motivated, self-starter, results-oriented team player with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering team to implement and test key components of products
• Participate in code reviews of teammates’ automated tests via GitHub
• Provide guidance and mentorship to existing and new QA team members in testing, automation, agile development, release, problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Improve testing, efficiency, tools, automation, release, and quality of the software
