Kwan Hong Lee

Kwan Hong Lee has extensive work experience in the technology industry. In 2012, they served as the Technology Director at Redstar Ventures, where they provided strategic guidance and technology roadmap for the company's projects. Kwan Hong also managed developers and designers and developed a social recommendation algorithm and messaging architecture for LoopIt.

From 2013 to 2014, Lee worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at POSTECH University, where they proposed research and received funding for cultivating innovative education. Kwan Hong advised students on their research proposals and projects and started a summer internship program for graduate students at Boston startups.

In 2014, Lee joined OpenView Venture Partners as a Software Architect, where they collaborated on software development projects. Kwan Hong then served as the CTO at FineTune from 2017 to 2020, overseeing technical operations and strategy.

Starting in 2018, Lee took on advisory roles at ADL Ventures, FuturePlay, and EverQuote, providing guidance and expertise. Kwan Hong also served as an investor at AltoIRA in 2019.

In 2022, Lee joined Saks OFF 5TH as the Senior Vice President of Engineering, leading the engineering team. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Lasso MD, a role they began in 2023.

Kwan Hong Lee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. Kwan Hong also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, where they pursued further advanced studies. Furthermore, Kwan Hong Lee has a Ph.D. in Media Arts and Sciences from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In their educational journey, they focused on Media Arts and Sciences at MIT, building upon their knowledge and expertise in the field.
