Alex Garrote currently serves as the Director of Client Services at Academy Fire Life Safety, focusing on overseeing account teams and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Director of Customer Success at Summit Fire & Security, where the emphasis was on enhancing customer experience and retention. Alex's experience also includes substantial roles at Johnson Controls, including Business Development Manager for National Accounts and Area Suppression Leader, driving revenue growth and managing fire suppression operations across multiple states. Earlier experience at Protegis Fire & Safety included special project management and installation management, while initial roles at SimplexGrinnell and Piper Fire Protection involved inspecting fire suppression systems and safety equipment. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Florida and has certifications in Firefighter I & II and EMT-Basic from St. Petersburg College.
