Pablo Salgado Méndez

Pablo Salgado Méndez has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Pablo is currently the Director of LIBURUAK Editorial at LAST TOUR since September 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Editor/Publisher Manager at LAST TOUR from June 2022 to September 2023.

In 2020, they worked as a Professor at IED Kunsthal Centro Superior de Diseño in Bilbao.

Beginning in 2013, Pablo served as the Director of BALA (BILBOKO ARTE LIBURU AZOKA-BILBAO ART BOOK FAIR) at BANIZU NIZUKE EKINTZAK.

Pablo started their career in 2009 at BANIZU NIZUKE KULTUR ANTOLAKUNTZA ETA DIFUSIO ELKARTEA, where they worked as a Director of the project. Their responsibilities included book editing, idea generation, coordination, design, and overseeing printing and distribution processes. Pablo held this position until September 2023.

Pablo Salgado Méndez obtained a Master's degree in Editing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2012. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in "Research and Creation in Art" at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. In 2007, they received a Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Before that, from 2004 to 2006, they studied Design at ÉSAD ORLEANS - ÉCOLE SUPERIEURE D'ART ET DE DESIGN. Lastly, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 2000 to 2004.
