Gergely Hangyás

Gergely Hangyás has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Gergely is currently working as a Principal Product Designer at LastPass, starting in September 2022. Previously, they held multiple roles at Bitrise, including Head of UX Design & Research from July 2021 to August 2022, Design & UX Manager from April 2020 to August 2022, Design & UX Lead from September 2018 to April 2020, and Senior Designer from October 2017 to September 2018. Gergely also worked as a University Lecturer of Typography & UX Design at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest from September 2017 to December 2017. Gergely has experience as a freelance Designer and UX Consultant from March 2017 to October 2017. Additionally, they had a brief role as a Senior UX Designer at ChemAxon in January 2017 to March 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer of UX Design at Krea from November 2015 to February 2017 and as a Senior Designer at Index.hu from October 2015 to November 2016. Gergely started their career as a Product Designer at Prezi from June 2013 to September 2015. Gergely also worked as a UI & Graphic Designer at Kacheeng from March 2012 to 2013. Lastly, they gained initial experience as a Graphic Designer through freelance work from 2007 to 2013.

Gergely Hangyás attended ELTE Trefort Ágoston Gyakorlóiskola from 2001 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in History. After completing high school, they enrolled in the Institute of Applied Arts in Sopron for their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, which they pursued from 2007 to 2010. Following this, Gergely furthered their education at the Moholy–Nagy University of Arts and Design, where they obtained their Master's degree in Graphic Design, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
