Alex Blue

Alex Blue is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Carta since January 2020, Alex is committed to transforming wealth distribution in the startup ecosystem. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a UX Manager at Amazon from February 2012 to January 2020, leading design initiatives to enhance business user and customer-facing applications. Alex's background includes design consulting roles at companies such as AltAir Fuels and Targeted Growth, where expertise in creating business plans and presentations facilitated successful investment communications. Additionally, Alex's earlier experience includes a role as a designer at Blue Knives, focusing on product development and marketing, and valuable internships at Tellart LLC and Ximedica. Alex holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
