Garrett Bergeson has held a variety of roles over the past nine years. In 2012, they worked as a Technician for Science-Surplus. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Volunteer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a Russian Teacher for the same organization from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they held two roles at Brigham Young University, as a Web Developer and a Translation Student Intern. In 2018, they were a Research Intern at Riga Energy Agency and a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University. In 2019, they worked as a Research Recruitment Coordinator at Imagine Learning, a Junior Security Engineer and IT Security Intern at KLAS. Finally, in 2020, they were a Security Engineer at InterSystems, and they are currently an Application Security Engineer at Latacora.

Garrett Bergeson graduated from Brigham Young University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Russian. In December 2020, they obtained a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from the EC-Council.
