Nicolas Lamoureux has a wealth of experience in the security field. Nicolas began their career in 2012 as a Programmer at Monitrol. In 2017, they became an Offensive Security Analyst (intern) at Desjardins and a Teaching Assistant at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2018, they were promoted to Offensive Security Advisor at Desjardins and also held a Malware Researcher Intern position at ESET. In 2020, they became a Senior Ethical Hacker at Banque Nationale. Currently, they are a Senior Security Engineer at Latacora.
Nicolas Lamoureux began their educational journey in 2011, when they obtained a Diploma of Vocational Studies from the Centre de formation des Nouvelles Technologies in IT Support. Nicolas then attended Collège de Maisonneuve from 2013 to 2014, where they earned an Attestations of Collegial Studies in Application Development for Mobile Applications. Finally, they graduated from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2018 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in eCMAP from eLearnSecurity in July 2020, and is currently working towards certifications in OSCP from Offensive Security and RCEH from RingZer0 Team CTF.
