Karina Villarroel

Karina Villarroel has a diverse work experience in the field of digital product management, technology, and project management. Karina is currently working at LATAM Airlines as a Value Delivery Lead eBusiness. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Product Officer at ANS S.A. from 2021 to 2023. Karina also co-founded UXNow in 2019, where they held the position of Co-founder & Head of Digital Products until 2023. Further, they worked at Bupa Chile as Subgerente soluciones digitales from 2020 to 2021. In the past, they worked at Viajes Falabella as a Digital Product Manager and Subgerente IT, leading various teams and achieving significant improvements in productivity and delivery efficiency. Karina also has experience at LATAM Airlines as Head of FP&A, Head of PMO IT LAN.com, PMO analyst, Sales Channel Planning Analyst, and Financial Planning Analyst. Additionally, they started their career as an Ingeniero de Proyectos at CREATECH®.

Karina Villarroel attended Universidad de Chile from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería Comercial with a mention in Administración. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained additional certifications in Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from the University of Virginia and Scrum Product Owner Professional Certificate from CertiProf.
