Andrei Hera possesses extensive experience in artificial intelligence, focusing on natural language processing (NLP) and sustainability research. Currently, as the leader of Artificial Intelligence R&D at Morningstar Sustainalytics, Andrei oversees the development of AI solutions aimed at automating ESG research and supporting analysts in sustainability and financial analysis. Previous roles at Continental Automotive included Research Software Engineer, where Andrei developed sensor fusion algorithms and computer vision AI systems, and Embedded Software Engineer, which involved designing embedded software and obtaining a patent. Academic credentials include a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universitatea Politehnica din Timişoara, complemented by a research assistantship that resulted in published papers in FPGA architecture.
