Bingyue P.

Bingyue P. is a Senior Director and Head of Monetization GenAI at ByteDance since July 2023, overseeing teams in research, applied machine learning, engineering, and product management for generative AI applications. Prior to this role, Bingyue spent nearly a decade at Meta as part of Engineering Leadership in Meta Ads, managing around 70 research scientists and engineers and leading significant initiatives including the launch of the first production GPU large model in Meta ads. Bingyue's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where a promotion was achieved in the first performance review, along with internships at Amazon and Microsoft Research Asia. Bingyue holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Beihang University.
