Roger Friedman has extensive experience in volunteer roles and technical positions. Since August 2017, Roger has served as a Volunteer Ambassador and translator for Blood Services and a service associate for Disaster Services at the American Red Cross, while also volunteering as a receptionist for the Latin American Association's Education and Family Service Departments. Prior experience includes a long tenure as a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman and various contracting firms, focusing on HIV-related health IT and contributing to OpenMRS EMR and DHIS2 projects in Panama and Ghana. Previous roles include Senior Programmer/Analyst at Network Communications and Manager of Computer Systems at Parsons Engineering Science, where Roger developed various data management systems. Roger holds a Graduate Certificate in Latin American Studies from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.
