Angie Portela

Angie Portela is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Legal Manager at A Priori since August 2021 and holding the position of Corporate and Legal Advisor at Grupo Preseleccion since November 2018. With extensive experience as Directora Departamento Corporativo at LatinAlliance Abogados since July 2015, Angie has a strong background in contract negotiation and legal counsel in both Spanish and English. Previous roles include Advisor at Liberty Reserve, Lawyer & Notary at Lechtman Legal Solutions, and Legal professional offering independent services. Additionally, Angie contributed to legislative work as an Advisor in the Office of Legislator Laura Chinchilla. Angie began their legal career as a Legal Assistant at Bufete Chaves Corrales. Angie holds a Juris Doctor degree from Universidad of Costa Rica and a Master’s degree in Derecho Internacional de la Empresa from Universitat de Barcelona.
