Rod Kurihara

Rod Kurihara is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and project leadership. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Latitude AI since March 2023, Rod Kurihara previously held the same title at Argo AI, where leadership focused on developing safety systems for autonomous vehicles. A long tenure at Walt Disney Imagineering from March 2002 to November 2021 involved roles such as Executive Ride Project Engineering and Technical Director for Ride Control Systems, where Rod Kurihara led multidisciplinary teams in creating ride systems and served as a liaison for international partners. Rod Kurihara holds a Master of Science in Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine.
