Yanning Li

Yanning Li is a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer at Latitude AI since October 2022, having previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Argo AI, where Yanning focused on behavior planning for self-driving cars. At Virgin Hyperloop, Yanning served as the Tech Lead for Vehicle Autonomy, leading the development of comprehensive vehicle autonomy software and a high-performing team. Yanning's earlier roles include developing a localization system for the Hyperloop pod, conducting advanced research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and contributing to traffic flow modeling at KAUST. Yanning holds a Ph.D. in Intelligent Transportation Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from KAUST, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
