David Gough has extensive work experience in various roles within different companies. David began their career as a Customer Solutions Consultant at Shoppingtown Hotel in 2001 and then moved on to work as a Restaurant & Bar Supervisor until 2004. In 2005, they joined Red Energy and held positions such as Workforce Planning & Content Management Specialist, Forecast & Reporting Analyst, and Resource Planning Manager. During their time at Red Energy, they played a crucial role in the delivery of multimillion-dollar projects, including the Genesys CTI platform. From 2013 to 2015, they took a break from their career to travel in North America. In 2015, they returned to Red Energy as a Project Manager, where they managed sales market entry, new product offerings, and the transition of customers. In 2017, they joined Latitude Financial Services, where they held multiple positions including Workforce Planning & Optimisation Leader, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Program Lead. Their most recent role at Latitude Financial Services is the Head of Product Initiatives, Sales Finance, where they owned the Instalment Cards product roadmap and delivery functions.
David Gough completed their Bachelor of Business (Accounting) & Bachelor of Computing degree at Monash University from 2001 to 2004. David then pursued a Diploma of Music Industry (Technical Production) at SAE Institute from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, David obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in July 2018, SAFe® 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2017, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate from PeopleCert in March 2010.
