Linda McCoy serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Latrobe Regional Hospital since July 2017, overseeing a specialist referral center that caters to over 260,000 residents in Gippsland. Previously, Linda held the position of Executive Director at West Gippsland Healthcare Group from July 1999 to February 2016, where responsibilities included managing community-based services and developing strategic partnerships in the health sector. Linda's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at Murrindindi Community Health Service and Administrator at Whitehorse Community Health Service, following a ministerial appointment in 1996. Linda McCoy holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from La Trobe University Bendigo and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Alberta.

Latrobe Regional Heath (LRH) is Gippsland's specialist referral and trauma centre located 150km east of Melbourne and is one of the region's largest employers with more than 2000 staff. We are a purpose-built teaching hospital caring for a population of more than 260,000 people. We offer medical services such as elective surgery, emergency care, aged care, obstetrics, mental health , pharmacy, rehabilitation and medical and radiation oncology. LRH has four operating theatres and specialises in general surgery, orthopaedic, opthalmology, gynaecology and obstetrics as well as ear, nose and throat surgery and urology. A hybrid cardiac catheterisation laboratory run in partnership with Alfred Health will significantly boost heart health services. We are the main provider of mental health services across Gippsland and have community mental health teams in the Latrobe Valley, Sale, Bairnsdale, Yarram, Orbost, Korumburra, Warragul and Wonthaggi as well as an inpatient unit at the hospital. As a teaching hospital we are closely affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and Federation University and provide placements and clinical experience for students.
