Cara Allamano

Cara Allamano is currently the Chief People Officer at Lattice. Prior to this, they were a Contributor at Forbes from January 2021 to December 2022, sharing insights from the People function with a global audience. Cara was also a Founding Advisor at PeopleTech Angels from January 2021 to December 2022, investing in PeopleTech companies changing the Future of Work. From June 2018 to August 2022, they were an Advisor at Udemy.

Allamano was previously the Senior Vice President, People at Planet from June 2014 to June 2018. During their time there, they led the People function (HR, Recruiting) and scaled the organization to support global SaaS business. Cara also built a world-class team of aerospace engineers, software developers and sales professionals driving the future of SpaceTech. As a member of the executive team reporting to the CEO, they oversaw offices in SF, Seattle, Berlin, Lethbridge (Canada), and more.

Allamano is also the Co-Founder of PeopleTech Partners from January 2014 to December 2022 and the Founder/Principal Consultant of People Partners Consulting from July 2013 to June 2014.

Cara Allamano has a Master's degree in Leadership + Ethics from the University of Chicago, a Master's Degree in HR and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Kentucky. Cara also has certification from Udemy in Career Navigators, Feedback Is Fuel, Goal Crushing, The Udemy Manager, and Unconscious Bias. Additionally, Cara is certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM).
