Yuh-Jye Chang

Yuh-Jye Chang has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Yuh-Jye started their career as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Syracuse University, where they worked on interactive technologies in telemedicine, disabilities, rehabilitation, and education.

Yuh-Jye then moved on to Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, where they served as a Member of Technical Staff for eight years. Following this, they joined Alcatel-Lucent as a Member of Technical Staff for five years.

In 2011, Yuh-Jye joined the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) as a Technical Deputy Director and later became the Deputy Division Director of the Division of DCSS. In this role, they led a team of around 80 engineers and focused on promoting cloud computing through OpenStack development and contribution.

Currently, Yuh-Jye is working at LatticeWork as the Director of Engineering, Web Services. Yuh-Jye reports directly to the CEO and supports two backend teams in Taiwan. One team focuses on the core API module, while the other team focuses on the storage device middleware. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at LatticeWork, where they developed software modules for storage devices, cloud web interfaces, and client API interfaces.

Throughout their career, Yuh-Jye has showcased their expertise in software development, leadership, and promoting the adoption of innovative technologies.

Yuh-Jye Chang obtained a PhD in Computer Science from Syracuse University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at National Taiwan University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Yuh-Jye Chang has also pursued further certifications. Yuh-Jye completed the Dale Carnegie Training: Leadership Training for Managers program at Dale Carnegie Training in October 2014 and obtained the Triz Level 1 certification from The International TRIZ Association in March 2012.
