Māris Gailis

Māris Gailis possesses extensive experience in IT and e-government services, currently serving as the Head of the ITT Service Management Division at Latvenergo since August 2007. Previously, Māris led the E-Service Development Division for the Special Assignments Minister for Electronic Government Affairs from April 2006 to August 2007, where responsibilities included defining and building the e-service concept and legislation for e-government in Latvia. Earlier roles at Lattelekom included Head of Offer Development and Integration Project Division, Project Manager in ITT Product and Process Development, Service Team Manager, and Group Manager for the 118 Inquiry Service Operator Group. Māris holds a Mini MBA in Strategic Management from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and a Master of Business Administration from RISEBA University of Applied Sciences, among other academic credentials in engineering and telecommunications.
