Iveta Krastiņa

Iveta Krastiņa is currently the Head of the Legal Department at Latvijas Banka. Iveta has previously held the position of Director of Economic Analysis at the Public Utilities Commission of Latvia from April 2020 to November 2020. Prior to that, they were Chief Economist at Swedbank in Latvia from August 2005 to March 2019, where they managed economists’ team and was in charge of economic research and forecasting for local and global economies.

Iveta Krastiņa received a BSc. in Economics and Business Administration from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Iveta then went on to complete an MSc. in International Economic Consulting at Aarhus University. Finally, Iveta Krastiņa completed an exchange student program in Economics at Macquarie University.
