Ayen Biar

Ayen Biar serves as the Acting Legal Director for Compliance and Dispute Resolution at Etihad Rail since November 2019, responsible for designing, implementing, and improving compliance and governance frameworks while managing disputes and claims. Previously, Ayen held the position of Acting Legal Director for Corporate and Compliance, overseeing corporate compliance and supporting the procurement department with contract preparations and negotiations. Ayen’s legal career includes roles as Legal Counsel, Senior Associate at Al Tamimi & Company, Legal Advisor for The Special Committee for the Expansion of AD Airport, and Associate at Bin Shabib & Company. Ayen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Laws, alongside a Master of Laws in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Dundee.
