Maris Slaidins

Maris Slaidins has a strong background in the management of building infrastructure and real estate. Maris currently holds the position of Head of Building Infrastructure Department at Latvijas Banka, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Office and Maintenance Project Portfolio Management Division at VAS "Valsts nekustamie īpašumi" / State Real Estate, Latvia from January 2018 to April 2023. Maris also has experience in the technology industry, having worked as a Data center technical manager at Lattelecom Technology from August 2013 to January 2018. Before that, they held various positions at Lattelecom, including Head of Real Estate Department and Head of Service management sector, Real Estate Department from November 2011 to October 2013 and August 2010 to December 2011 respectively.

Maris Slaidins' education history begins in 2004 when they attended Banku Augstskola and earned a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship and IT, which they completed in 2008. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Maris pursued an MBA at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University), specializing in innovations and entrepreneurship.

In 2013, Maris obtained certification as an Accredited Tier Specialist from the Uptime Institute.

Most recently, since 2016, Maris has been studying at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) in the field of power and electrical engineering, specifically focusing on electrical technologies. The end year for this educational pursuit is not provided, so it can be assumed that Maris is currently still pursuing this degree.
