Mikelis Zondaks

Mikelis Zondaks is a Chief Economist at Latvijas Banka since May 2019, previously serving as a Senior Economist and Economist within the same institution. Prior experience includes roles as a Global Investment & Innovation Incentives Consultant and Grants & Incentives Consultant at Deloitte Latvia from December 2016 to March 2019, and as an Advisory Consultant and Junior Advisory Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers SIA from October 2015 to December 2016. Mikelis Zondaks also contributed to the Ministry of Economics as a Senior Officer in the Entrepreneurship Competitiveness Department from October 2013 to September 2015, focusing on foreign investment attraction, tourism, and export promotion. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, both obtained from Latvijas Universitate.
