Raneem Assi

Raneem Assi is a dedicated dietetic intern currently working at LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital since September 2023, having previously interned at Ain w Zain Hospital & Dar Al Ajaza in March 2024. During these internships, Raneem screened patients, wrote ADIME notes, modified orders for specific cases, assessed nutritional needs, developed individualized meal plans, collaborated with healthcare teams, provided nutrition education, monitored patient progress, and contributed to the development of dietary protocols. Raneem served as President of the Nutrition and Food Science Club at Lebanese American University from August 2022 to September 2023 and gained additional experience through dietitian shadowing at Al Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association and food safety roles with Middle East Airlines. Raneem's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Lebanese American University (2019-2023) and ongoing studies towards a Master of Science in Nutrition.
