Daniel Milano

Daniel Milano serves as a Senior Engineer at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, focusing on floating wind technology since February 2021. Responsibilities include leading technical reviews of TLP technology, developing a digital twin for condition monitoring, and modeling crew transfer scenarios. Previously, Daniel held positions at EDF as a Project Engineer and Research Engineer, where expertise was applied in numerical prototyping for offshore wind turbine dynamics. Prior experience includes project engineering at Innovo Engineering & Construction LTD, specializing in offshore structural analyses, and an internship at the National Physical Laboratory. Daniel's academic background features an EngD from The University of Edinburgh, along with master's degrees in Renewable Energy Technology and Mechanical Engineering.
