Austyn Smith

Austyn Smith is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Services at the University of Portland since February 2025. Prior to this role, Austyn held the position of Chief of Staff for Marketing at LAUNCH education advisors, focusing on brand trust and business growth through data-driven insights. Previous experience includes working as a Digital Marketing Ops Specialist at Nike, where significant improvements in partner relationships were achieved. Austyn also produced and hosted the Expat Hour Podcast, recognized for its storytelling about expats globally, while managing a marketing consultancy that led to notable membership growth. Early career experience includes serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO at The Coca-Cola Company. Austyn holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Wellness Management from Brigham Young University.
