Kat Sweet

Kat Sweet is an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer at LaunchDarkly since July 2022, previously serving as a Security Engineer focused on security education at HubSpot. At HubSpot, Kat developed strategy and roadmap for employee security engagement, overhauled training content to meet compliance standards, and launched a phishing metrics program. Experience at Capsule8 as a Technical Evangelist involved presenting on cloud security, fostering customer empathy within sales and engineering, and overhauling product messaging. Prior to Capsule8, Kat worked at Duo Security as an Information Security Analyst, focusing on onboarding, training, and incident response. Career highlights include positions at Madison Area Technical College, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, TDS®, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kat holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender & Women's Studies from Knox College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Network Security from Madison Area Technical College.
