Leslie Tou has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Starting in 2004 as an intern at Eddie Collins Photography, they gained experience in image manipulation and re-touching, as well as organizing shoots and interacting with clients. Next, in 2005, they interned at Surface Magazine, where they worked closely with the Creative Director on page graphics and layout design, and also assisted the marketing department. In 2007, they joined Minds On Design Lab Inc, working on various print and web projects. In 2010, they moved to eFashion Solutions as a Web Designer, collaborating with marketing and brand managers on campaigns and designing web interfaces, promotional material, and print collateral. Since 2012, Leslie has been with Launchmetrics, initially as a UI/UX Visual Designer, then as a Lead Experience Designer, and later as the VP of Product Design. In these roles, they oversaw the Product Design chapter, mentored and grew the team, and ensured strategic alignment across all products.
Leslie Tou holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design and Photography from the Parsons School of Design - The New School, which was earned between 2002 and 2006. In 2011, Leslie pursued further education in the field of Metal and Jewelry Arts by completing a Continuing Education program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2015, Leslie attended the Flatiron School to gain expertise in Frontend Web Development. No degree was mentioned for this program.
