Mark Bernfeld

Mark Bernfeld is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and education financing. As a member of Launchpad Venture Group since February 2011 and Chairman of Tamarack Technologies, Inc. since 1993, Bernfeld has played significant roles in various organizations. Mark co-founded MentorWorks Education Capital, serving as board chair from September 2016 to September 2024, where the focus was on providing flexible education financing and support for career success. Bernfeld was a Partner at Clean Energy Venture Group from August 2015 to December 2022 and a Professor of Practice at Northeastern University from July 2015 to June 2022, specializing in Financial Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance. Additionally, Bernfeld served as a Senior Consultant at Willis Towers Watson from 1998 to 2015 and maintains ongoing affiliation as an outside contractor. Bernfeld holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Mathematics from Dartmouth College.
