Johnny Dinkel

Johnny Dinkel has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Johnny is currently the CEO and co-founder of LaunchPod Media, a position they have held since January 2019. Prior to that, they founded Manga Sensei in August 2017.

In 2017, Johnny worked at MultiLing as a Japanese Translation Coordinator, where they assisted with the patent translation process, managed workflow, and coordinated assignments for over 200 patents.

Before that, in 2016, they served as a Research Intern at The Asia Institute, where they conducted research, summarized scholarly sources, and transcribed and translated documents.

In 2014, Johnny worked as a Sales Associate at Kay Jewelers, and from 2011 to 2013, they served as a Missionary for the Japan Nagoya mission. These roles showcase their interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in different environments.

Johnny Dinkel attended Brigham Young University from 2015 to 2018 where they studied Asian Studies: Korea & Japanese Language and Literature. During their time at Brigham Young University, they focused on Asian Studies with an emphasis on Korea and Japanese language and literature. In 2016 and 2017, they also attended Kyung Hee University, although no specific degree was mentioned. At Kyung Hee University, they focused on studying Korean language and literature. Prior to their time at Brigham Young University, Johnny Dinkel attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Japanese Language and Literature.
