Jason Hu

Jason Hu has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2017, they worked as a Technician at All Weather Heating and AC, where they handled maintenance, installations, and repairs of HVAC units. Jason also worked as a Product Specialist at Tesla, where they provided personalized experiences to customers and conducted test drives. Additionally, they worked as a Professional Tutor at Santa Barbara City College, specializing in mathematics-based classes and math-CAD programs. In 2019, they served as a Desk Clerk at Sea Landing Fishing and Dive Center, managing bookings, rentals, and stocking of fishing and diving gear. Jason also operated their own business, Nut Ding Repair, since 2018, offering affordable and well-done surfboard ding repairs. Jason tracked expenses, revenue, and hours through Excel. In 2021, they interned as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Raytheon Intelligence & Space. Most recently, in 2022, they started working as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer at LaunchPoint Electric Propulsion Solutions, Inc.

Jason Hu earned an Associate's degree in Geology and Engineering from Santa Barbara City College from 2016 to 2019. Jason then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2019 to 2022.
