Shami Barooshian

Shami Barooshian is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience at LaunchSquad since June 2014, rising through positions from Account Associate to Director of Editorial Strategy. Previously, Shami worked at the UMass Amherst Writing Center as a Writing Tutor, where assistance was provided to students across various writing projects. Additional experience includes internships at Raytheon, focusing on business application services and at the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, where media analytics reports and press materials were developed. Shami also served as a Teaching Assistant at Commonwealth Honors College, supporting students in academic writing. Shami holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has further educational credentials from the University of Oxford.
