LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice
Cathy White is an experienced professional in the fundraising and education sectors, currently serving as Community Fundraising Executive at LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice since May 2018, after previously holding the position of Fundraising Support Administrator. Prior to this, Cathy worked at Shaw Academy as a Student Success Manager and at UNICEF Ireland as a Door to Door Team Leader. Cathy also has retail experience from HMV as a Retail Sales Associate. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and English Literature from Maynooth University, complemented by studies at Aix-Marseille University and a Leaving Certificate from Newbridge College.
LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice
LauraLynn is the only Children’s Hospice providing palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in Ireland. LauraLynn’s care can be delivered in our hospice, at hospital, in the community, or in the family home, depending on the child and family’s preference and the medical needs of the child. LauraLynn’s holistic approach to care ensures we support the whole family, allowing patients to be children and parents to have time to be a ‘Mums and Dads’ rather than full-time carers. Separate to our children’s hospice service, we also provide a disability service to a small number of adults and children.
