LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice
Lisa McAuliffe is a highly experienced music therapist currently serving as a Senior Music Therapist at LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice since November 2022, providing community-based music therapy in Cork and Kerry. Prior experience includes roles at Milford Care Centre, focusing on music therapy for older adults and palliative care, and St Joseph's Foundation Charleville, where individual and group music therapy was offered to adults with ASD and intellectual disabilities. McAuliffe has also worked as a self-employed private piano teacher for over 16 years and as a tutor at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, teaching music and clinical skills. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor's in Music from Munster Technological University, with research interests in music therapy's impact on individuals who are d/Deaf or hard-of-hearing.

LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice
LauraLynn is the only Children’s Hospice providing palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in Ireland. LauraLynn’s care can be delivered in our hospice, at hospital, in the community, or in the family home, depending on the child and family’s preference and the medical needs of the child. LauraLynn’s holistic approach to care ensures we support the whole family, allowing patients to be children and parents to have time to be a ‘Mums and Dads’ rather than full-time carers. Separate to our children’s hospice service, we also provide a disability service to a small number of adults and children.
