Lorie Helms

Lorie Helms is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and operations across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at LauraMac since April 2023, Lorie previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Cherry Creek Mortgage, LLC from July 2021 to April 2023, overseeing development teams and IT operations. Prior to that, Lorie was Chief Information Officer at Covius, leading application development and IT operations from November 2014 to July 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at Allonhill and Vice President of Information Technology at Avelo Mortgage/Goldman Sachs. Lorie began a career in IT as Director of Development and Product Owner at Optum. Academically, Lorie holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
